The free trial includes 120 minutes of transcription — roughly 18,000 spoken words, about a full day of dictation — started with a one-time email link. No credit card required. When the trial is used up, transcription pauses until you buy a license; your local data is never touched.
What the price includes
You buy the app as it exists on the day you purchase, licensed to you perpetually — it keeps working with no further payment, ever. Included are all updates released within 12 months of your purchase. After that first year, everything you received keeps working indefinitely; later updates may require a paid upgrade. Ascolta is a local-first app and the price reflects that. If we ever introduce optional cloud-backed services (device sync, hosted features we run for you), they would be separate, clearly labeled plans — never silently added to this one-time price.
